Testimonies

Layla said that as she was listening to the message of the Gospel she felt like everything that happened in her life was leading her to this moment. Layla today is committed to learning more about Christ and that experience has changed her life’s course forever.

Our team came across a man called Jack. After 27 years of addiction, Jack realized that his life was not beyond redemption. He was finally happy that someone was there to help him. Last Monday, with an open and determined heart, we arranged for him to go through a 14-days detox therapy at a hospital before he moves to a rehabilitation center. Jack has been in pain for 27 years, but now, and for the first time in his life, he was looking forward to a better and fruitful future. Sadly, Jack passed away the following day, and though he will not see a bright future here on earth, we are joyful that he is now enjoying a bright present with the Lord Jesus.

The Father of one of our team members (from a Muslim Background) died and the funeral was in Hermel in one of the most fanatic Muslim areas. It was an opportunity for him to spread the truth of the Gospel among his family and relatives. As a result, and to our surprise, many asked to receive the Bible without offering one for them and asked that we go and teach them the Bible. We are expecting that 10 to 15 seekers will attend the new Bible study.
